It IS a sin ONLY if the person using the new version is aware of BOTH sides of the Bible Version issue. The vast majority of new version users are completely ignorant (as I once was!) of the differences between the KJV and ALL other versions produced since 1881.
For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth. (Psalm 47:2, KJV)
