In Acts 17:11, Luke tells about Jewish people returning to the Jewish Scriptures to check and see whether Paul’s proclamation about Jesus was correct. This model provides the impetus for our new series. Although there are many voices claiming that the New Testament has manipulated and abused the Hebrew Bible, it has been our experience that the more carefully we study the Bible of Jesus and apostles, the more reasons will we find to be convinced that the New Testament’s testimony about Jesus is true.
